When walking around I think the challenge is that there is just so much going on that it's difficult to know what to take a photo of and how to capture it. I used to struggle for something interesting to take a photo of, but now I'm finding interest in many things and instead of immediately dismissing a man waiting for a bus as boring, I'm now asking questions like "What is he doing? What's behind him? What's going on here? Is there a story?" and also "Do I have the opportunity to take a candid shot, ie. has he seen me?". Being discreet with an SLR is difficult but sometimes opportunities present themselves.

In the treatment of this, somehow a bit of cross-processing suited it better than the more usual black and white.
