This is more of a behavioural observation rather than an individual showpiece so it may not appeal to some of the purists.
From what I have seen these LTTs seem to be some of the best mannered birds at the feeding station. They arrive in a noisy group sometimes as large as 20 or more. When all the space is occupied the remainder form an orderly queue and wait for their turn. Several birds would often take advantage of this nearby barbed wire fence. Whilst waiting they chatter merrily away to each other quite unlike your average supermarket queue!
Many thanks for your interest in yesterday's pic and special thanks to Fefe and Alda for their generous awards. I had better give the LTTs a rest now and find something else to spare you from terminal boredom.
Enjoy your day.
