Hi Each

This is more of a behavioural observation rather than an individual showpiece so it may not appeal to some of the purists.

From what I have seen these LTTs seem to be some of the best mannered birds at the feeding station. They arrive in a noisy group sometimes as large as 20 or more. When all the space is occupied the remainder form an orderly queue and wait for their turn. Several birds would often take advantage of this nearby barbed wire fence. Whilst waiting they chatter merrily away to each other quite unlike your average supermarket queue! Smile

Many thanks for your interest in yesterday's pic and special thanks to Fefe and Alda for their generous awards. I had better give the LTTs a rest now and find something else to spare you from terminal boredom.

Enjoy your day.

Gerry

Yes Gerry they do exactly as you describe perfectly, and do not squabble like many others, only one supermarket trolley each lol. two good shots, V2, has a slight edge on V1. but both top notch, regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

An interesting observation Gerry.... I am wondering what the foreground Tit in V2 had said to it's pal to get such a look of disdain.

Well done...

Two super captures, Gerry.
LTT's operate as a co operative family group, which comprises of parents
offspring & aunts and uncles. They even sleep communally.

Just like people, eh? We are all different. But I like these little birds a lot more now, lovely manners..
This is a lovely image of the queueing pair, so charming. Love both versions.
Reminds me of the TV add, "It's so hard to get a table".
