Taken at the lake at Pressmennan Wood near Stenton (East Lothian) - BTW, would thoroughly recommend this forest walk if any of you guys live nearby, absolutely beautiful with lots of Photo opportunities.

After walking the hills, we went down to the lake to find 3 swans, 2 males and 1 female. There was a right rumpus going on as both males were obviously playing for her affection! They were quite far away, but I fired off a few shots as all hell was breaking loose with the 2 males chasing her (And each other) around.

I would have stayed all day, but Mrs Taff was getting cold. Sad

This is about the best one I managed, at full focal length of the 250mm lens I had. Light was also pretty awful so not ideal conditions.

He seemed to be looking straight into the camera as he landed - magnificient show!

Excellent exposure control and timing. The eye-contact is the icing on the cake!
