I love winter days at the coast, and this shows why, the lovely feeling of being alone, the vast expanse of sand and sea, this is my kind of shot and in mono I feel it works best.

Desolation beach Derek, love the mono.

Wonderful and dramatic mono (and useful to have the dog to hand!). Pleased to click you to 30.

Your composition is what catches the eye for me Derek, thesand s swirling lines leads the eye past the couple to the top right of the image, a lovely journey. The fg detail in the dunes is special.
