They seem to be slightly ahead of their reflections which is fascinating - obviously keen to get there WinkWinkWink

Quote: They seem to be slightly ahead of their reflections which is fascinating

This is because the building is a collection of strange angles, nothing is perfectly horizontal or vertical, everything seems to tilt away from everything else. It makes predicting where reflections will appear quite tricky.

Quote: Striding onward with a sense of purpose. Everything points to the edge...

I was wondering about calling this one The Lemmings. It may still happen...
And good morning EPZ!

These could be sky diving packs they are sporting on their backs, as it looks as if they might need them.
A very original image, so well recorded.

Not sure exactly what it is, but I really like this image, a very considered composition, the reflection, the low viewpoint and that sky, superb, glad to be able to award you my humble GEA Moira.

Best Matt

The elements and composition work so well: great balance between left and right with the sky at the end creating a sense of walking into the wild blue yonder. Magic 'street photography' Moira

Somehow, this puts me in mind of that extra verse...

"You'll never get to Heaven
In a Playtex bra
'Cos a Playtex bra
Won't stretch that far."

I'm sorry. I've jsut finished a little battle with HMRC PAYE software and logic, and I'm a touch spaced out. Good thing I'm not on that roof...

Oh yes, Moira.
This is so far the best from the opera house roof, without a doubt.
The tonal processing you have used gives a surreal, dream-like appearance to the scene.
The emptiness is somehow emphasised, you sense they are totally alone here.

The highway to heaven Moira! Those cloud formations and reflecitons are wonderful. I bet the opera house roof is a great vantage point to see the city and the surrounding area
