I drive past Walthamstow down hall everyday on the bus that I drive and I always look at it and think it's a fantastic building with something "Whitehouse" about it.

I went down there last sunday morning and thought I'd have a go at trying to capture it.

As you can all probably tell, I've tried to blue the sky through Photoshop and it hasn't worked as well as I had hoped, I also used Photoshop to remove the SLOW and 10MPH markings on the floor.

I'd love some tips and tricks, so feel free to share.

Thanks,

Ben.

I reckon you have captured this well. I like it ,well done. We shall be in Britain shortly and I am going to be a complete shutter bug especially around lovely buildings like this one………...

There's just as many idiots inhabit this 'whitehouse' as well. A very difficult building do get an artistic image of. I live just the other side and have been trying for years! You have a reasonable capture but the lighting is rather flat, and the processing has fudged out the top of the clock tower a bit. Some of the better shots I have seen have been taken low down and using the flower beds as foreground detail. I do congratulate you on getting the shot without vehicles parked in front (even on a sunday).

Like it Ben, try an unsharp mask on photoshop to darken the edges!
