Another wild Red Squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris) taken near Aviemore last month. This one was doing a very good Meerkat impersonation!

Many thanks for your great support of my last upload, with special thanks to Pete, for the HC and to Tony(tonyng), Adrian(tomcat) and Al(almiles) for their User Awards - really appreciated and valued Smile

A very alert and inquisitive pose, mimicking the meerkat customary pose so accurately, Sylvia.
Wonderful detail and colours.

Like everyone says, the pose and the title are great, but what makes it for me is the animal's self-satisfied expression.
