Taken at Anvil Cottage, Near Sawrey.
Not visible, but around 100 yards up the road, is the lovely and welcoming Tower Bank Arms: a convenient distance from the cottage, if you don't feel like cooking or brewing, but do feel like eating and drinking.

very apt for this time of year,what summer there was has gone,mind you OCT last year there was a few weeks of med sun, a warm to hell with the world image
