Afternoon everyone !

Back from an great eight day visit to the Lake District, although two of those were travelling. Weather was terrible apart from two days, we had thunder storms, ice, wind, rain the lot - but made the most of it !

This shot of Wast Water was taken early in the morning on Tuesday, we set off at 5.00am hoping for a sunrise, but this was the best we got - but what a beautiful place, so glad we made it.

Managed to get around all of the lakes, don't think we missed any out. Certainly did some travelling.

Got loads of images to go through - hope to have a few to share with you.

Hi Chris, sounds like the lakes provided you with some nice new material, the moods change there in an instant.... this is a lovely one of one of the quiet lakes, with some lovely fg interest and colour

When you visit the Lake District you must consider the fact that as it rains an awful lot is why it has natural and beautiful lakes.

Shame about the weather...you can see the overcast in this shot, but it hasn't stopped you from getting a super image with lovely rich colours.
