Hi Charles.
No doubt this image is a picture of a japanese automatic watch mechanism of 17 jewels and your camera and lens have done an excellent work recording details of the miniature springs and bolts.
I am not sure if you had realised the opportunity, based on the schematic resemblance to a face, to arrange it in the way that this perceived resemblance is more ovious. The circle next to the word Japan would be the left eye, the central screw positioned vertically looks like nose, and holds the self-winding mechanism, with the smiling mouth, while on the right of the centre screw we have the other "eye".
It is a nice picture anyway converted or shot in black and white and it gets my vote.
Best regards,
Pablo
