I am practicing using B and W and posted 3 variants up for comments and critique - Hope I have not overused the diffuse settinging - I thought it gave the images a nice look. I am not sure if anybody will see these as I am an insomniac right now! Again, would appreciate any comments and critique.

Thanks for looking!

Hi Kenny. Nicely done, and I guess V1 works for me. I have never used the diffuse tool, however, I can see the potential of this. The forarm closest to the camera appears to be closer to the focus line - did you set focus on the eyes?

Hi again Kenny. Great tones and composition, however, if you look closely you will still feintly notice a band of clipping in the white background. This is one's worst enemy!!! and you have continously keep an eye open for that. I personally have not used the diffuse tool so am not an expert is deciding what works for me or not, however, if I may chuck in an opinion I feel that diffusing an image goes hand in hand with a more mysterrious or atmospheric composition, and this one would possibly have worked better for me with the eyes in clear focus, especially as the model is having direct eye contact with the camera.

I have to say that I agree with all that Andre says, Kenny. But having said that, I would also like to mention that this is a good pose and composition, that I like the window in the background, and that I like the almost letterbox format crop. And I would be interested to see the image without the diffusing effect.
