Stunning image Lillian,out standing colours.Well done..Lin
How lovely to get pic's of King Fishers Lillian, I've only ever seen them dark across the water in what seems a split Second. Very well done for finding them and capturing them so well.

You've set yourself a good benchmark now Lillian.
Very good Kingy and yep I think you should call him Star ![]()
Well waited and executed
What I would try next time is get the ISO to 400 and aperture to F8 as that is the optimum for that lens from past experience.
Well done again
Richard
Another belter Lillian, I think you have been in great company with these![]()
I said you would be hooked
Another Gem Lillian ![]()
Len (Len1950) Thank You so much for the User Award...
These are remarkable little birds that move like lightning at times
and I was lucky to have this one sit for the odd moments to capture
these magical moments ..and so pleased that you are all enjoying him too
Lillian

Cracking shot Lillian, quite a step up the ladder here, lovely detail and pose, really well done.
Good to see you getting around the new camera so well ![]()
Geoff.
I've heard the 150-500 is better at F8. You have proved that idea wrong.
The clarity and detail is spot on with your' excellent photo.
Alan
Sorry lillian ... I have no award for you today ![]()
excellent again
Another stunning capture, Lillian, and posed very nicely for you, too! ![]()

Above comments say it all Lillian, a cracker!
Regards
Trev.
Blimey, Lillian, this ain't half good, but I guess you knew that already. What a little beauty. As far as I know we don't have these colourful creatures over here, more's the pity. Will have to rely on images like this instead...
Malc
great shot Lillian, would love to see one again, been a long time![]()

A real belter Lillian you've raised the bar even higher with this one and set the standard for us all to aspire to
