It's 7.30am on a Sunday morning, I'm on a beach kneeling in wet sand. After the first run down the beach this lovely rider shouts "Hello" and every run after that she gets closer to me so I can make the shot.
How I love taking photographs, a reminder of a lovely morning.
Another shot from yesterday.

Wow thank you all, this is great, I really appreciate all your kind words and support.

Magda and Paul thank you for my Indigo Award it's such an honour and along with Ken and Mary the faith you have in me.I think my photos have improved since I've been on ePz and it's due to the members that take the time and trouble to comment and help like all of you here. As for an EC when I see the amazing shots on this site that don't recieve one I can understand why I haven't and I think mine are probably a little old fashioned for the Ed's taste.

I never thought that people would be saying these things about my shots so once again.....proper job, thank 'e my ansums!

Noble creature that horse, notice the slightly askance glance at you, as if knowing what you needed as a photographer. The lighting, the sharp detail and the riders attitude, all go to produce a masterly image Richard. Was Pete on holiday? He must have been, hence no ECSad

Leo thank you, what lovely words, you must know horses very well, I didn't notice the glance untill you pointed it out, my eyes were on it's power and that beautiful body caught by the early sun, I have learnt to appreciate so much more since I've had a camera, this was an exciting time for me with this wonderful animal.
Thank you Leo.... no Pete was not on holiday.

They often don't get enough credit for their intelligence Richard. I see some lovely ones regularly and they are most affectionate to their foals too. I caught a galloping one on our sands not long ago but I was too far away, it would have been something similar to yours if I had been nearer. Ooh well...maybe next time(g) Pete maybe needs some new glasses(bg)
