Took this a wile back at the SVR, The chap on the right seems to have lost interest! Thanks for calling and foryour continued support - much appreciated. J.
Great candid shot of British Workmen spending more time looking than working Joan.
Takes me back to my railway working days Joan.
I too had a habit of losing interest !!
Found this really amusing.
We watch the men who come to put white lines in park
for football matches etc. It seems to take a squad of them!
Definitely those brains are ticking - how long can we spin this one out for?
Great candid Joan, British rail at it's best, seems a lot of looking and no effort to get the job done, well spotted, Peter..
British workmen captured in standard mode and posture, me thinks.
I think this is a wonderful candid and a great comment on the British workman.
what a wonderful candid
that belly ..... wow!!!!
Normally there is one working and two watching but here non working and as Barbara says thats quite a belly he has good candid Joan brought a smile
Great physique! No wonder he is standing still
No problem at all..... just get a bigger sledge hammer!!
Good to see they have perfected the required something to lean on stance and clearly the guy on the RH side does at least do some work, some of the time given his shape! Guess that's the foreman on the LH side as he doesn't have anything to lean on - you can usually tell!
Good place for train spotting? Love the look on those fellows! Great pose on Big Daddy... IB
Big Daddy may have a problem bending down to pick stuff up.
Seems about right! scratch a head, lean on poles and think about it until time to go home!
well done Joan a great candid
Nice one the chap on the right is thinking shall I tell them a trains coming or not, lol. lots of things you could say about this shot well done, like it, regards Leon.
Excellent candid picture.
Wonder if they are discussing the problem, or just having a chat in general. Good candid Joan. Moira

Never a truer word said in jest by Ronnie. This picture would lend itself to many a good caption
