I really like this, it's unusual to have a frosty web silhouette and it works well. The only thing I can see which may improve it is to play with some alternate crops at the bottom. Try reducing the depth of the buildings by about half.
Ian

thanks for the suggestion of cropping, but I kind of like the black of the buildings ![]()
I kept looking at this image with interest.
I wanted to enhance the silouetted web, and wanted to reduce the noise in the sky, which is why I used the radial gradient, as a moon I suppose, and positioned ithe brightest part behind the centre of the web.
This turned the image into almost black and white, so I switched it to mono, giving the mod I uploaded.
Hello, Rachel. This is a great spider's web abstract on a perfect plain background that has a nice gradient throughout the blue colouring. The centre of the web is nicely offset with sweeping curves that are so attractive. I think there is a bit too much of the bottom dark area/houses, but they do make a strong silhouette. I find the image quite dark and feel the colour needs enhancing, but this could be almost any colour of your choice. In my first modification, I made a slight crop to the bottom, lightened the picture and lightened the shadows so that the web over the houses was visible. I did a curves adjustment to strengthen the colours and graduation and to give it depth. I used noise removal and then sharpened. My other mods are a bit of fun with different hues.
Pamela.
