Viewed through the blossom somewhere in Brompton Cemetery, London.

Thanks to all who voted and commented on yesterday's Angel at Peace. I have tried to answer questions about the processing with a comment of my own; I didn't actually do very much, effectively just emphasised what was already present.

A thoughtful image, makes me think of the contrast between the lost ones who would never return and the regeneration of nature.

Just wonderful, great eye, indicates sadness but peace

Fantastic image Bill, IMHO it is perfect Smile, composition, dof, light absolutely spot on, I also find it very emotional, can't explain why, it just has that feeling / aura.

Another brilliant shot Bill.
I can feel it playing with my emotions.
A really clever piece of framing, the use of the gravestone giving context and the blossom lifting the mood, then the main subject and you feel the grief and sorrow.
Superb work.

Not your bog standard ''record'' shot here Bill,
but through the blossoms here lifts it from that !!
A rather splendid shot.
Mick.

It's funny how images invoke different emotions in people. Excellent use of framing and focussing, lots of interest held within, and excellent shot but I'm not connecting emotionally (my problem, not a criticism, Bill).

I love this as it gives the feeling of a peaceful resting place and has your special touch in drawing attention to the right part of the scene.

This one is more than just good observation Bill. Your perspective gives the view so much to think about and conjure with.

I do so like this one - clicking on the thumbnail leads the viewer into a sad but magical place.

You've composed this shot wonderfully well Bill, the angel on the headstone looks just like a mourner in the cemetry
