Another portrait of my long suffering son, I went in close just as an experiment really and converted it to mono.

I too love the tiny glint of light in his right eye. It adds substance and depth and shows there is another side - if that makes sense. Gloriously dark portrait Hugh - you are good at these.

Lovely low key portrait.
The lighting is nice just catching the right eye and cheek, good work.
My son has one of those expanders in his ear, I found a use for it a couple of weeks ago.
I had just served some of the wifes soup up and handed him a bowl and a bread roll, he now had no hands for his spoon so I slid it through the hole in his ear and off he went. Perfect, a very useful hole.Grin
