Back in Wakefield and on our Camera Club evening outing, to try to make the Christmas lights a bit more interesting, with the camera on my tripod, I zoomed the lens during a 2½ second exposure. V2 was taken from a slightly different position and using two bracketed exposures.

Great effect in #1 and one can still read the 'Welcome' sign
Two great shots here Trev. Difficult to choose between them so I give half a vote each!

V1 really is effective ...i must try it some time
Have to agree the decorations themselves are not that brilliant but superbly pepped up in v1.

I like V1 better, Trev; it's like the Tardis appearing (or disappearing, I'm not sure which). The Doctor arrives in Wakefield (or leaves......
)
It's very crisp for a zoom blur - like it lots.
Regards
Bill

Hi Trev, this is how Superman sees life when traveling at the speed of light, love V1 because it is different, more of the same technique mate.
Regards
Trev.
