The colours are too over saturated Steve. So much so that you have many burnt out areas, especially on the trees.
Sorry, but with the correct post processing, this could have been a very nice shot.
If we had your camera settings, maybe we could see where you may have went wrong.

Yes its not one of my best, the contrast range was extream to say the least.
I only posted it has been sat on the hard drive for ages.
Saying that though you have given me an idea, I will try reprocessing it through HDR software and see what I come up with..... A Challenge, thanks thats just what I have been looking for.
