Taken in February this year when we were snowed under - Tinker was behaving like a 2 year old, despite having just been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism - but he always seems to finds snow fascinating ... he doesn't actually have green eyes Wink

Many thanks to you all for your lovely warm seasonal messages and your appreciation of my Christmas Card and other images GrinGrinGrinGrin

Have you noted that the black and white contrast makes the cat appear and disappear in the snow? Just like a cat! Seasonal greetings to you, also.

Yes, our old cat was fascinated by snow to the end of her (long) life.
I've read of a procedure for correcting green eye in animal images - but I've never tried it, and I don't know if it would work here as this wasn't taken with flash. Anyway - invert colour so that green becomes red, then apply the Red eye correction, then invert colour back again.

Lovely white snow and pretty Tinker with good eye contact. His green eyes are effective and help to make this shot - in fact thought you might have enhanced the colour.

I like the green eyes and also thought you had done it deliberately.... until Moira jogged my memory to something I read a long while back.

Sounds like a great tip from Moira.
Glad your cat enjoys the snow - he stands out beautifully here amidst the white.
