I know this one, it's a wood duck...Only because I read the sign.
All that kept going through my mind was the old tongue twister:
How much wood
could a wood duck duck
if a wood duck could duck wood?
Have a very Silly Sunday, & enjoy the sun while it's out. This could be our summer.

good one davey, i almost fell for it too...its only when i saw the eyes i realized this couldnt be the real item ....
That's one very confused birdie...
the American Wood Duck has such beautiful colours but you have not managed too well to capture this as well as I might have liked, maybe a little on the dark side on my screen but the shot itself is a good one, taken in bright sunlight might be the problem.
much better now in V2 and 3 good show
Thanks Ann, for your very usueful input.
The HDR has achieved its aim here Davey.
V 3 is a sure winner.
Do prefer V3, a nice sharp image.........................Sandy
'Excellent v3 HDR Wood Duck image'>...LEx
Wonderful markings and colour on the head Davey.
And the only tongue twister about ducks I know, is something about a ''feather pluckers son'' !!
Yes, V3 is the one beautiful colour and detail...
Thanks for your comments.
Mick - I think that's "pheasant plucker's son", otherwise it doesn't work.
Davey,I have my OWN version.
And it works fine.
Especially after 8 pints of Guinness and my teeth out !!
