First many thanks to Chris ( slowsong) for the UA yesterday it meant a lot.

Shortly after posting the image of Edith yesterday I heard that a very dear friend had been taken to hospital with a severe head injury from a freak bicycle accident, a fractured skull, an operation and now in an induced coma, his very strong and extensive group of friends are all wishing him well.

He was hurt doing something he loved, this bike is nothing like what he would be riding but given the context it seemed apt.

Get well soon Mike.

I was going to say, why do we all like taking this sort of picture? I know I do.

Now, as a cyclist, I will add - Please give him my regards and hopes for a quick recovery.

Alan
