.. I wanna be a Train Driver

My big bruvver is a regular train driver and in his spare time he's a "steam train driver" working on the Swanage Railway Dorset

I was lucky to spend the day on the footplate of the Battle of Britain class Bulleid Pacific No. 34070 'Manston'

V1 - My lovely lovely bruvver Andy
V2 - Undneath oiling stuff
V3 - Exchanging tokens, (This is Pete the Fireman exhanging keys with a signalman that enables the points to be changed), not an easy shot to get!
V4 - Me! Look Mum I'm driving a train!

thanks for looking

Jon

Brilliant set of images, all very well taken and you at the controls just looks like Casey Jones steaming at the throttle lol. If you can't remember Casey Jones it was an old t.v programme from 70s.
All the best Shaun.

4 excellent shots which tell such a story about life of a steam loco driver. As well as being fascinating and so well captured, they do make up an excellent documentary set for future reference.
Lovely work, Jon.

Superb set of captures with super title Jon. Have really enjoyed looking at all four of them and it is very hard to choose a favourite. V3 stands out for composition and angles but I love V4 - brilliant Smile

A brilliant series Jon... you could easily turn this into a book! Also as has been said already the title is spot on!

Well done!
