I love this too. It's the beauty of the ephemeral, the moment - the footprints will dry, the leaves will blow away. But thanks to the photographer's eye the moment is fixed forever. That's what photography alone can do - strange to think that it's only the last few generations of human life that have been able to do this.
Plus I like the precision - very careful, neat lines, perfectly balanced top and bottom. Very thoughtfully composed.
It's such a quiet little gem, the sort of thing that gets overlooked here because most people want big, dramatic landscapes or kingfishers with their prey. But this one has made my day. Have a UA.
