Never been in Birmingham, even though our son now lives there. Clueless as to what building this is but looks a very interesting one and well captured image.
Very good symmetry
I shall come back later to find out - it has an Arts & Crafts look, and Birmingham was an important centre of activity in the A & C Movement.
These days not so much Arts & Crafts as Arts & Kraft.
Haha a big clue there from Steve! And very poignant too. Thanks for all clicks and comments. I will let you know tomorrow
No idea where it is, Rach, but it's a beautiful building which you have captured so well.
Take care, have a lovely weekend....................Pauline
If i said they make chocolate there that might be a clue
Ok time's up. It's The Rest House on Bournville Village Green, not far away from the Cadbury factory. Fashioned on Dunster's Yarn Market in Somerset it was originally opened in 1914 to commemorate the silver wedding of George and Elizabeth Cadbury, and since 1997 has been home to the Bournville Carillon Visitors' Centre and Gift Shop.
Thanks for clicks and comments
Good perspective ....I knew where it was but did not know anything about it.
I only every see it in passing when we have to visit Selly Oak ...now the QE...Hospital.
Just have a look through your portfolio and it's good to see all the great "urban" shots of around the area.
Oh man!! I could have won that game!! Love it around there, great shot x
Hey this one nearly slipped through my net - what an interesting building and nicely captured too.
