Hello and good morning Grin
This is the same kind of butterfly that I up loaded last(blue butterfly) only with the wings closed, showing its defence against predators ... and yes I was fooled for the 1st few shots as well.
V1 & 2 were taken using my BB (butterfly baiting) I let a banana skin go all most black then split open the skin let it sit for a few hours in the sun then flicked the soggy banana on to the leaves of the tree.. & hay presto, some of them were eating for some 10mins at a time.
May i also say many thanks for votes and comments on the "Blue Butterfly".

An amazing butterfly indeed Ray !! I am impressed with your bait, which is clearly visible on the leaf and which would have had me wondering what it was Smile

3 great captures Ray, although your bait is a clever idea it has made me feel ill as I hate the smell of ripe banana's. A pretty butterflyGrinGrin
