Thanks for looking & all comments good or bad much appreciated
While I was recuperating we had a afternoon at Whitby the fog started on the moors & never got any better I would have had kept my old film SLR in the boot but now with the digital SLR the weather didn't stop me from taking a few snaps this is the second one of them , no manipulation straight from the CF card only down sized it to put on EPZ & removed some dust spots
Techs 1/30sec f22 ISO 200 28mm on tripod
Thanks for stopping by
Tony

I like the mood... and the curve of the pier. You did well to make the most of the bad weather.

Another good'un, Tony.
Mrswoolybill and I made several attempts on the Lyke Wake Walk in our youth, one of them being spent going round in ever-decreasing circles somewhere up on a fogbound Wheeldale Moor - so we know just what North Yorks can do..........
Happy Sunday!
Bill
It's not much better than that here today...
I like the way the red details (including a nice bit of Yorkshire rust...) stand out against the murk. Good composition too.
Moira
Super shot, great composition. Just goes to show that you can get a good shot from the least likely days.
Darren.
Curve of the pier leads you straight into the picture, good foreground.

Tony, great lines, gentle subdued colour - great interpretation of the circumstances.
Mike
Great atmosphere and lead in, in this well composed image
