And I thought... Oooh what a beauty!! So unusual to these North American eyes. Amazing colour scheme. Beautiful image!! TG
Thank you all. After standing on the railing at the canal, it bobbed its head up and down, and sideways a few times, presumably to spot a fish swimming by, and in a flash it flew into the canal and flew off with a small fish in its mouth - too fast to capture!
