Taken at Anglesey Abbey, a National Trust property in Cambridgeshire a couple of years ago.
These Himalayan Silver Birches are a wonderful sight against the greenery of the background.
I'm sure I saw a Breakfast TV Programme where it was reported that National Trust Volunteers/Employees actually wiped the bark clean, on a regular basis, in order to maintain the whiteness! (I could be mistaken though!).
Thanks to all who viewed, voted and commented on yesterday's New York upload and special thanks to Nezih(Nonur) for kindly awarding a UA!
