Being as it's silly Sunday and I've recently started going soft in the head by uploading images of flowers and such like I thought I'd go really daft and soppy and post a picture of our handsome boy Simba, aka Killer, You Little Sod, I'm gonna turn you into a carpet slipper and Suzie's Baby!

This is the one that likes to chase the our visiting Fox out the garden, he doesn't bother with small things such as birds, no Simba much prefers to kill rats & rabbits, both of which the 'Little Sod' has brought home in the past.....He can currently be seen if your lucky going toe to toe with the fox on the webcams late at night.......No points for guessing who loses that battle!

Yes he only has one eye, that's where he lost a fight with a car when he was 3 years old, ever since then though he's been a little like his owner......A complete nutter! But we love him and he's as soft as they come especially if there's a nice spare warm lap going begging Grin

Regards to all on this wet Sunday AdeSad

Hedgehog Update
Loads of action last night and Mr Fox made a very wary visit at 00:30 and then stayed around for half a hour or so......Until the cats decided enough was enough. Tongue They leave the hedgehogs well alone, a lesson leant the hard way I think Wink We've two in the boxes today too, so if you want a peek, here's the links:

Nice shot, and your write up reminded me of Greebo, one of Terry Pratchetts creations. as next

Greebo is Nanny Ogg's tomcat, he is feared in the forests of Lancre by all animals, and he is the father of most of the cat population in the area.

Flea bitten, with scars all over his face and his partially present ears he is a huge swaggering bully of a cat - renowned for once chasing a bear up a tree. He has one green eye and one which is milky white, he is intelligent for a cat but uses three categories to define the things he sees as "rape, fight or eat." This is the cat that Nanny Ogg refers to as "Mr. Puss-puss," and sees, in her head, as a cute little bundle of fluff - yet everyone else calls "gerroffyerbugger!!!"

He's a big bruiser just like your good self Ade, but with a heart of gold too no doubt. He definitely takes after you mate, just look at that world weary, cheesed off expression on his face! I've seen that look a fair few times, especially when twitchers have started to annoy you in the hides at Slimbridge with their incessant chit chat and small talk!WinkGrin

Conversely we had a pet rabbit, quite small and with a disproportionate 'atitude'. He would see off any cats that ventured into our garden.
Like your write up again, Ade GrinGrin

Nick's cat used to go on the railway line to catch rats and had a face off with three foxes, this was watched by a neighbour, never under-estimate a cat! Love the website Ade and the hedgies!

Nice story board up top about kitty although that's not a term that seems to sit well with his character, Ade.

Could have been my late cat's brother - she had one eye (argument with a car) and her fur was longer but she would bring all kinds of things home - dropped a live frog in her dish one day which I didnt appreciate!! So I like your kitty quite a lot Ade.

There's a cat where I live who has three legs (lost one in a trap), one eye and two teeth. She is boss cat around here and sees off all the other cats in the area but is as soft as anything with people. Don't you luv 'em?! PS - Simba looks adorable!

my cat tiger lost an eye in a fight with another cat, it was around the time the rocky films were out and my cat was always called "eye of the tiger" after that, from the films song.
nice write up and a lovely capture of your cat.

Seems a few of us have one eyed moggies...mines Burmese and called Cassie
but adorable most of the time, and mad as a 16year old 'hatter' lives indoors
love image of Simba, beautifully captured, and loving the web cam

It's lashing it down, don't know if we'll see anything much tonight, if they've any sense they'll stay in the warm nest boxes.....

Youre right, guard cats are very efficient, my Fafnir has an impressive growl on him!
