Being as it's silly Sunday and I've recently started going soft in the head by uploading images of flowers and such like I thought I'd go really daft and soppy and post a picture of our handsome boy Simba, aka Killer, You Little Sod, I'm gonna turn you into a carpet slipper and Suzie's Baby!
This is the one that likes to chase the our visiting Fox out the garden, he doesn't bother with small things such as birds, no Simba much prefers to kill rats & rabbits, both of which the 'Little Sod' has brought home in the past.....He can currently be seen if your lucky going toe to toe with the fox on the webcams late at night.......No points for guessing who loses that battle!
Yes he only has one eye, that's where he lost a fight with a car when he was 3 years old, ever since then though he's been a little like his owner......A complete nutter! But we love him and he's as soft as they come especially if there's a nice spare warm lap going begging ![]()
Regards to all on this wet Sunday Ade![]()
Hedgehog Update
Loads of action last night and Mr Fox made a very wary visit at 00:30 and then stayed around for half a hour or so......Until the cats decided enough was enough.
They leave the hedgehogs well alone, a lesson leant the hard way I think
We've two in the boxes today too, so if you want a peek, here's the links:

Nice shot, and your write up reminded me of Greebo, one of Terry Pratchetts creations. as next
Greebo is Nanny Ogg's tomcat, he is feared in the forests of Lancre by all animals, and he is the father of most of the cat population in the area.
Flea bitten, with scars all over his face and his partially present ears he is a huge swaggering bully of a cat - renowned for once chasing a bear up a tree. He has one green eye and one which is milky white, he is intelligent for a cat but uses three categories to define the things he sees as "rape, fight or eat." This is the cat that Nanny Ogg refers to as "Mr. Puss-puss," and sees, in her head, as a cute little bundle of fluff - yet everyone else calls "gerroffyerbugger!!!"

I almost forgot what I came here for as I have been into the webcam
so interesting wish I had been able to set something up myself when I had a hedgie visit (several in fact) I used to sit in the window watching they always came out around 8pm
love the pussy shot he certainly looks as if he can look after himself and your new found inhabitants
G'day Ade
Great intro mate, just had a peruse of the website and what a great job !! Some superb work on there and well worth the viewing.
All the best.....Dean
He's a big bruiser just like your good self Ade, but with a heart of gold too no doubt. He definitely takes after you mate, just look at that world weary, cheesed off expression on his face! I've seen that look a fair few times, especially when twitchers have started to annoy you in the hides at Slimbridge with their incessant chit chat and small talk!![]()

A bruiser Ade with battle scars, the Hedgehogs are fast asleep.
Regards
Trev.
Conversely we had a pet rabbit, quite small and with a disproportionate 'atitude'. He would see off any cats that ventured into our garden.
Like your write up again, Ade ![]()

Could have been my late cat's brother - she had one eye (argument with a car) and her fur was longer but she would bring all kinds of things home - dropped a live frog in her dish one day which I didnt appreciate!! So I like your kitty quite a lot Ade.
Joan.
There's a cat where I live who has three legs (lost one in a trap), one eye and two teeth. She is boss cat around here and sees off all the other cats in the area but is as soft as anything with people. Don't you luv 'em?! PS - Simba looks adorable!
Ann
Great shot of Simba Ade, shame about losing the eye so young, must visit the webcam tonight and catch up,
Geoff.
A nice shot of Simba, Ade. I've seen him on the webcam, and watched when he encountered the fox a few nights ago.
What a star!
Quote: Definitely not a cat to mess with if you ask me ![]()
Jason
Just like its owner!![]()
He's a real beauty Ade, and he looks such a character.
Carol
PS: looks a bit wet in your garden tonight!!!!
Quote: Had a look at the website Ade - looking good mate - you should both be well pleased.
Brian
Cheers Bri, I still got one or two issue I want to iron out, but it's coming along nicely I think....

It's lashing it down, don't know if we'll see anything much tonight, if they've any sense they'll stay in the warm nest boxes.....
Ade
He looks a right bruiser. The way you took him he does look the one and only bosscat.
Youre right, guard cats are very efficient, my Fafnir has an impressive growl on him!
