This little one I captured at College Lake. I had a harder time getting it in focus with my big lens but with perseverance I got a few clear shots. Yes, it's not outstanding clarity, I wasn't carrying a monopod as previously suggested, cos I don't have one, bare basics are easy to carry when extra weight causes pain, plus, it takes all the fun out of stopping and shooting what catches your eye and learning to be a still as can be! By the way, it was a very colourful one, I have not enhanced the colours, in fact I thought of desaturating it! I only added a wee bit of contrast and a slight post vignette to make the image more complete.

You are so right, in your words. I have the very same problem. Someone should invent a camera with a built in mono or tripod. However Loren you have yet again managed to capture a rather fantastic macro photograph, full of gorgeous natural colour, superb detail, which enhances the beauty of this rather handsome looking 'Common Blue' so very well indeed.
Regards Nathan
Cor blimey, this ain't 'alf common. A real beauty too, Loren. I need a tripod for low-light, but each to their own, whatever works.

I wouldn't mind a tripod...but I need a male to attend my every needs (preferably, tall, dark and handsome, just to make the day go by nicely of course), errrm I mean to lug it around for me! ![]()
