Another image from last wednesdays camera club out and about with cameras ......on Cleathorpe's sea front.
This chap very kindly let me take a few photographs of him.
Hope your evening is a chilled one...and the beer or wine!
Great look to this guy. Dont know if the white background suits him though. Have you tried it in black ?
Thanks Andrew : )
I did try a few textures etc on the b/g but keep going back to the plain white one as shot.
I really liked the high key sort of look with this one.
I think the WB helps focus on the detail that you have captured so well,
I reckon he could get another three drags out of that fag don't you, nice one Alley like the white out..
I like the white - no messing - he seems a no-messing sort of guy !!
Beer.....maybe wine...and this is my kind of guy!!
I have wine , this looks super... the background works so well...
Wonderful face. You've captured it at its best..........Sandy
A great face and just love all those badges ..... for me a little too stark on a plain white background though. Fussy so and so eh?
An excellent character study Alison,ot 100% convinced ref the white bg as it makes the image seem more like a studio session rather than an 'outdoor at the seaside' kinda image.
An extra sticker for you too, well done.
Wow,I got all that typed on the stupid laptop before it timed me out...now there's a miracle !!!

Better go for a lie down and rest after the exhaustion Janet
The white does make this different, the guy pops out at you with all the detail and may be gives him a softer fell, don't know, Im rabbling now.
Congrats on the badge
Thanks everyone for stopping by....knew that b/g would get you talking!
Pete: Thanks very much for the HC : )
Pooch: He did indeed get several more drags from that fag! : )
Pauline: I'll send you his number ; )
Dave: you fussy...when?
Janet: Hope your poorly PC is fixed soon Hun....and no blowing it up again! ; )
Les: Ramble away....Its normally janet doing that! ; )
Great conversion Alley, tho I can see what Janet means re the bg
Thanks for stopping by Nick
I knew the b/g would cause for's and against's. For me it did not matter this was taken on the sea front and I did not want that kind of back drop...it was more about the subject.
well done Alley ,like it
