Plethora of kite surfers off a beach in Poole, Dorset. Opportunity to experiment taking action shots. Would appreciate any comments/suggestions for improvements.

I think this is really very good. You've got him pin sharp with a nice sense of movement and a lovely spray of water in just the right spot. If I was being really nit picky I perhaps would have given him a little more room on the right, just so he has somewhere to go, if you see what I mean, but otherwise a top action shot.

Agree with Andy - pin sharp great DoF and the lighting on him and the spray behind is spot on too. More space and I just wonder if there's anything you could do to make the sea a more classic blue - typical grey UK sea!! But I think this is a BRILLIANT shot! Grin

A lovely sharpaction shot with no distractions. One you should be very pleased with.
It's just a pity good action shots never get the votes they deserve on here.

Thanks for your helpful comments and positive remarks. I've extended the trim on the right-hand side to give the subject a bit more space, as proposed by Andysnapper and tinabolton. Sorry about the sea colour, Tina. That's the way it was!! Peter Greene
