A first for my PF - have been after this chap for a while Smile A wild Barn Owl (Tyto alba), taken late this evening, hunting in fields behind our house. A full frame capture, handheld.

A great shot Sylvia - Great to have these flying near you - good to see them - evidently there has been a sharp decline in Barn Owls

A fabulous inflight capture Sylvia, you must be chuffed to bits to catch the silent hunter on camera. Many people have never even seen a barnowl in the wild
