My favourite kinds of flower - wild ones. Lovely, rich tones and inspired composition: there is a rightwards sweep of daisies while the poppies continue in patches towards the hills. I wonder how much barley they'll get from this field....
Regards
Bill

Love this, Dougie. It all holds together so well with the vibrant Poppies anchoring the composition at the base, through the field to the distant hills and strong sky. Wonderful use of colour in composition.

Good for photographers Dougie but a poor crop of Barley. He will have a hell f a job sorting the wheat from the chaf.
Its good to see this imaginative image rather than the ones I do of a single poppy in the bottom right hand third. Ah well thats what you get for photographing camera club judges.

I want to thank you for all the support of late and some great comments. It's a boost from someone who knows the difficulties of the work.

What an eye-catcher Dougie! Wouldn't it be nice to live in that wee village on the horizon, behind all these flowers?

Wow, Dougie, what a find! Beautifully done with the vertical crop to get the depth of field (literally!) in
