This wild orchid was photographed at the edge of a very dark forest and I decided to remove any trace of it by manipulating the b/g.

A beauty with all these fading, waxing an waning flowers in the pyramid of a lifie cycle.

award well deserved Ronnie for this fine capture. You had achived good background seperation in V2 but the magic of the black background shows this fine beauty at its best its no wonder so many of us like the dark b/g.

What a beautiful wild orchid Ronnie, these are a familiar sight on the hills and limestone grassland of the Coswolds close to where I live. Glad to see that you have inspired our friend Gary D to get back out with the camera again, he hasn't been himself lately![]()
