...a wee hill in Ayrshire, Scotland with a planted garden of wildflowers to lift the view to Loudon Hill. First brought to notice by my friend Fraser Duff his image is HERE.

The sky was heavy with impending rain and very warm, but for once no midges bothered me as I wandered about amongst the flowers.

Nature's colourful carpet, a delightful f/g to your shot of Loudon Hill: so peaceful, hard to imagine a battle here all that time back.
Ronnie.

There's something special about a wild flower meadow (particularly if free of midges). The crags make the perfect contrasting backdrop. It's a very satisfying wee hill.

Nice one Dougie !......it's the drama in that sky that appeals strongly to me !.....but the wild-flowers are pretty 'dinky' too !!!!!
