Another from my weekend trip to the wonderful 40's weekend at the Severn Valley Railway. We caught a steam train from Kidderminster to Bewdley and this lady was sat in one of the carriages knitting away and looking out of the window. I have bigger image but wanted to crop in to catch her gaze. All this stuff was very new for me but have to say the people who take part there are very obliging and it's an area of photography I enjoyed....would like a faster lens with a zoom for some of these low light shots though I reckon.

Lovely capture Al. Good exposure too by the look of this shot. What about a mono version? Think that would look good too.

This really works well for me
Love that lighting on her face
Very nice ...and would like to see it in sepia rather than the mono suggested

Beautifully observed and taken, this deserved so much more attention, must put this event into my diary for next year.
