This was taken in the back garden after a bit of rain.
Should have taken a bit of extra time to set up with a tripod, but the clouds were looming.

Would appreciate any feedback or criticism Wink

Cheers

Neil

A really beautiful shot....with nice detail & colours !!!!.......9/10 !

I think the image would benefit from cropping the top & bottom, to create a horizontal format, & increase the contrast a wee bit to add a bit of 'sparkle'.......for 10/10 !

As Niknut has said, this can benefit from being cropped although I've retained the portrait format.
I've simply cropped it to position the flower away from the centre, increased contrast a little and sharpened it. Sadly, it's lost some of the sharpening in the upload. I usually deliberately overdo it knowing that will happen but you'll get my gist.
Hope that this helps.
Cheers,
Bren.

Oops !...didn't realise your shot was open to mods.......so I've taken the liberty of illustrating what i'd previously suggested with a mod......& as I said---10/10.....it's a beaut !!!!!!

Nice image, but not as good as your later one because of composition. Here the branch comes in from the middle side, the other it is angled across the frame giving a better effect. Whilst you have got away with it here, a tripod is a great help for such images.

Many thanks for all the feedback. By the looks of the Mods that have been done, I need to have a bit more of a play with Contrast and "Curves"

All a learning curve, that's willingly being climbed.

Cheers
