One of two wind pumps at Howe Hill in Norfolk. One is restored and the other awaiting restoration. They were used to pump water off the land via the ditch system, back into the river.

You can just see the second pump in the distance.

I just like the skeletal shape against the dark sky.

Looks best large.

Great composition and the dark sky makes the scene very moody.. Shame that the foreground isn't a bit lighter, that would make the image perfect.. Great shot!
