A building in Cardiff. As usual it was taken from an angle.
I do enjoy doing this sort of thing.
Many decades ago I did a freelance photography and photojournalism course. I remember my tutor emphasizing that you should obviously take shots from the usual angle and its just as important to take the unusual.
I appear to have taken on board what he said! ![]()

Terrific capture Ken - it works well in mono and with the diagonal from left to right ![]()

V1 is an especially strong abstract, the abstract nature being enhanced by the b&w rendition. The angle is at first a bit disorienting, making us think - always a good sign.
Excellent.

V1 is a powerful abstract. You could rotate it to give three different images that would work in different ways.

Stunning abstract photography Ken with V1 just edging it for me, excellent use of mono.

V1 reminds me of soundproofing they have used in the Oslo concert house where the Philarmonic perform and demand the best acoustics.

Love the angle, makes one look more when it's shot like this, good textures well worked image.
