Had this processed for a while but have never been sure about it.
As it was taken about 06:30 in the morning and I felt was slightly too dark. However I do like the sky the clouds were moving very fast due to high winds and the colours were only there of a few seconds.
I have also used a new sharpening method which seems to work.
So see what you think - many thanks for all your comment on my last upload.
Please view large if you have the time.
Regards
Richard

It's beautiful. I love the sky and the beautiful vista.

This comes alive when viewed large, it really fills the screen.

I like this, although it first seemed a bit dark, but it's how it was and, in fact, all the detail is there.
If you have Photoshop CS you could try 5-10% shadows adjustment in shadows/highlight, but it might spoil the atmosphere anyway

A little dark yes, but works for me. found myself looking into the depths to see what was in the darker areas.
Phil
Stunning sky and some nice detail in the fg. Needs to be viewed large to appreciate this.

This really needs to be viewed large for all the detail in the dark areas. Yes, maybe just a wee tad dark, but overall I like the image a lot. Love the sky.

a stunner of a sky here Richard.
looks like there was no light to add interest to the buildings in the lower parts of the shot which is a shame - but not being god, you can't really change it!
I may ahve included more of the railings at the bottom by tilting down a bit to get a stronger lead line from them
but all in all, the sky has it ![]()
The large version brings out such a lot of detail, the atmosphere is beautiful. And it is by no means too dark.
