This is one of my favouitre shots, taken a while ago on Dartmoor on a typical wet and windy day with a few short periods of sun. I wanted to capture the mood of Dartmoor, I hope I have?

good picture which I have voted for but to me Dartmoor is wide open country that needs a landscape format rather than a vertical shot. I do recognise that a vertical shot works in capturing this scene though.

I wouldn't say it was classical Dartmoor, David, but the image itself oozes atmosphere and is very well composed.

I like the way you've got down low to make the water and rocks so prominent (I know this spot really well and you must've been practically lying in the mud to get this angle Smile) A lovely image which captures the atmosphere well.

Thanks for all your comments, yes Anna, I was lying down and got a little muddy, while the front of the lens constantly got splashed.
