The lake froze over this weekend, from open water to ice. It was no ice saturday morning and this is how it looked sunday afternoon

Absolutely love the low, golden glow in both so these, but V 1 is my favourite.

Have to confess I prefer both snow and ice in images to the real thing! Both of yours today are beautiful but V1 is wonderful! Love those patterns on the foreground ice and the snow-draped trees.

You can tell the sun is still low in the sky even in early afternoon. Really some good light here. My mother is counting the days till the sun turns...........
