The Loch Lomond post boat at moorings in Balmaha Marina, with the walkway it's tied up alongside totally submerged after the heavy rains and elevation of the water levels in the loch........image captured two days ago.
I was attracted by the cool winter tones here as well as the limited colour palette.

My thanks to all who commented on Misty Crossing and with special thanks to John {alsoppdigitalart} for his much prized User Award.

Ronnie.

Such beautiful clarity Ronnie - the light has been kind.
The boat is perfectly placed, lovley streak of light above the horizon
and I love the square shapes and colours on the shed door.
Well captured and at least you've been out and about.

how fine the silhouettes stand out against that glimpse of SUN that is in the distance. The grot of the sheds and the boats of course add a lot to the atmosphere. A new view of a place that you have taken in a very different way before, I seem to recall.
A beautiful, moody composition!

A lovely grey canvas with splashes of colour, and the watery yellow break in the clouds just seems to emphasize the wetness. A water-colour in name and nature, Ronnie.

Morning POD campsies white with snow this morning and a tad fresh to say the least. The light has given you a right cold feel to this capture and it probably was if only two days ago. All amplified by the starkness of the trees and the low levels of colour.

I was just commenting on how low the water levels were in the Lochs that I'd seen on the moor, this is where all the water went by the looks here.
Quite a sight Ronnie, did you have your wellies with you?

An excellent winter landscape, very atmospheric and bleak looking. I bet the loch is frozen over now and is surrounded by snow
