Louise, I have been admittedly curmudgeonly regarding this image. When it was first posted, and the EC assigned, I was thinking "it's very good, but is it really EC material?". There's been some debates raging in the forums lately re: EC's, and it prompted me to look at this shot again. I then imagined it hanging on the wall (you lucky so an so) and it finally clicked for me. It is a fine, fine shot, beautifully lit, and a well deserved EC. I can only put my initial reservations down to Rannochitis and EC envy!

I never tire of this view and this capture is as good as any I have seen. Congratulations on the EC.

Regards,

David.

Thanks a lot David.

This is a brilliant shot. I love Rannock Moor and I agree with David that this is as good as any shot I've seen. Excellent work.
Congratulations on the EC and photo of the week, both very well deserved. click

Well Done a well deserved award. A great inspiration to many oil painters I should imagine, it looks very surreal. Kay

Fantastic pic - like it! Great portfolio!
