Excellent contra-jour shot. Couldn't be anything else really considering the subject matter. Simple but with impact. Smile
Ever so slightly off centre.

Having seen the other similar shot Pete, I am surprised at how differently I am reacting to this one. It doesn't feel serene like the other. It's harsher in a way. The EM-5 does a wonderful job with exposures like this - much better than my other Olys.

Beautiful shot !!!!.....lovely dreamy quality !!!

Wonder what a vertical shot would've looked like, to include the bottom of the twigs ????

Thanks all. Smile Niknut...I added a vertical version as you can see I still missed the base of the twigs but the ground was coming in to view and a different position to exclude the ground resulted in the sun not being in the gap where I wanted it.

Oooooo....love V2 !!!!!......now for me that has a lot more impact, & worthy of hanging on a wall......very impressive !!!!

I can understand your predicament in achieving a perfect composition.....but V2's as close to it as required........I love it !!!!!

both versions work well, v1 a subject of the twigs and v2 the subject of the sun behind, a great shot.
