Just your standard winter scene. I am always amazed at what a black and white world it can become. Only broken by a few orange beech leaves that hang on until spring.

If you hadn't have mentioned the "odd orange beech leaves" then i would honestly have seen it as a mono image. ( all it needs now is a rally car zooming around the bend at the end of the road !

I love it when a colour shot looks BW or almost so, Joline. Something so surreal about the experience.
That aside, you've taken one amazing picture here. The composition and balance are simply sublime and the tones in the snowiness are just so stareable-at. A very wallworthy shot.
