Just your standard winter scene. I am always amazed at what a black and white world it can become. Only broken by a few orange beech leaves that hang on until spring.

If you hadn't have mentioned the "odd orange beech leaves" then i would honestly have seen it as a mono image. ( all it needs now is a rally car zooming around the bend at the end of the road ! Wink )

Yes, I would love to take a winter walk down this lovely lane. No snow here yet in Tennessee! Lucky you! PattiSmile

A beautiful scene to enjoy. We've missed out his winter - just been little bits of snow
but not enough to rush out with the camera.

That's a fair old walk, Joline. Looks like it was made for a toboggan! GrinGrin

The colour has drained away. Natural mono.

I love it when a colour shot looks BW or almost so, Joline. Something so surreal about the experience.

That aside, you've taken one amazing picture here. The composition and balance are simply sublime and the tones in the snowiness are just so stareable-at. A very wallworthy shot.

Bravo Smile

Andrew

What I like best here is the pines edging the road--

and, of course, that it has been plowed!

A splendid view today!

It never ceases to amaze me how snow manages to bleach the colour from practically everything around. A wonderful snowy country walk, Joline, beautifully taken ... Carol
