Fantastic colour - and some people accuse the 10d of sometimes being a little dull!
very spacious shot, if you know what I mean, David.click (*:*)
Lovely image, well captured.
I must admit Kit that sometimes I too think it's a little less than rich - I always take RAW now.
There is an amazing programme I use to decipher the images Called C1 - it works in real time (and leaves canons converter in the shade) and is a real life saver - I'm always giving this a plug as it is the 'berries'
TY Magda - still colour - lol - TY Kit & Gary
David, I just had a look at your wow shot, and whilst scroling I lost a bit off the top...It was even more wow, my humble opinion( I hate cropping )(*:*)
Super shot David. Gorgeous colours an lovely composition.
Davie....a wonderful shot imho....blues and tan browns are just about the best colour combination going in my book.....!!
a double click ..!!
gets my click
Really great - a great landscape with interest. Would be fantastic for a holiday brochure for getaways to foreign parts.
Oh, sorry, I was dreaming there.

As always TY you're all very generous

Its all been said - fantastic colours and composition. Well done.

Great image, David. Where two great wastes meet, a woman walks. Excellent and poetic picture. I particularly like the footsteps following the ridge of the dune. Well done.
A beauty. Everyone else has said all I could say, so I'll leave it at that.
Superb colour and composition. A one in a million shot.
Its all been said! (Haven't heard something called "the berries" in ages, where you from?).

Great shot. those footprints really enhance the feeling of solitude. I can almost hear the waves crashing.
echo the above
I feel I should here give credit to Egidija, my wife.
It was she, who very pertinently and deliberately, walked the ridge knowing it would gild the lilly
A stunning image David.

Going by my hit rate, you must take an awful lot pics to get lucky this often then Davie Lovely shot, great composition, nice lighting and the woman adds a wondeful sense of scale!
you got a point dave - my finger's limp
you got a point dave - my finger's limp
and the woman, bless her cotton socks - (not that she's wearing any nor to my knowledge has any) --- is my lovely missus
This is great Davie - the colours are glorious and inclusion of the figure really makes it. Good choice of member name too
Super shot, well seen, like the almost pristine sand and virtually the only foot prints being those the lady has left behind her, very strong colours too. Some shots suited to strong colours others to muted/pastel colours here the strong colour works well. Well done
Well I finally scrolled down to the comment box...to find it's all been said so just ditto

I definitely remember looking at this photo and going 'WOW' but think somehow has missed commenting on it.
Anyway, this is one of my favourites on this site !
Me too for some reason!
The lines together with the curves in this image work brilliantly, they lead the eyes from the bottom of the image and then left and right all the way up to the top of the image. It makes me ask many questions, like is she lost or just found what she is looking for an so on. Good control of contrast and colour range
BLOODY HELL..96 HEARTS..NOW ITS 97!
great colour contrast and the detail WOW even the foot tracks are so clear.
I am going to be your 100 click x

this picture could easily be divided into 2 WOW shots, you have the top half of the sea and the bottom half of the desert....work well together though....click.
I love every part of it.
Great shot, congratulations on the EC.
A very beautiful picture, like the smooth sand and the waves together, great shot.
It's not only the tonal values, the composition and the image itself but the exquisite clarity and sharpness, which is so deserving of all the praise...utterly brilliant 134th CLICK! more clicks Davie, than a dog trainer(g)Damn, it won't allow another, has it reached Max? I'll try again later.
It worked fine, Dave - and goodness only knows why I haven't clicked it before
Still no joy on my IE Dave/Mike but then we must not forget we're dealing here with PC's and that's enough to put the mockers on almost anything Just no place to click!
I see the problem, Leo. You clicked on Apr 10th already
Now there's a thing, so clever these idiot proof 'puters(g) Cleverer than me that's for sure Mike. I felt I had seen this before too and searched for my name but obviously missed it Thanks for clearing it all up!
Ahh now I have to apologise to Pete who recognised the situation straight off - and I said no he (Leo) was not trying to click twice and blamed his (Pete's) system -
However two things - Pete's a big hearted fella so I know he'll let me off (I have no evidence for this but I'm an optimist - believe that you'll believe anything) and I'm often clicking (or trying to) twice so I'm just full of understanding (believe that.....)
Thank you both - You're a smart fella Mike
Leo what is the (g) + others thing mean ??
A very big click from me...I absolutely love this...many congrats on a well deserved EC...And thanks for your kind comments to mine...Sue
(g) for grin or smile, however you'd like to interpret it Dave. My own apologies to Pete too, pleased he knew the reason right off the bat though. Mike had to be on the ball too. This is another version of smile
This a BIG smile
