very colourfull and catches the eye from the thumbnail, great viewpoint too, G
A change in colour but definitely in your trade mark.Superb.
Tom.
Really fantastic. I like the way it feels like the image is twisting as you look into her eyes. I must say though, I feel although the image is colourful I still think there is something sinister about the feel.
It is unlike many fashion shots done in fields etc. You usually get the feeling of freedom and space. With this it is slightly more claustrophobic. The sky says impending doom which adds to this and her feet and eyes suggest she might be scared.
This is only my opinion so it's all up for debate ofcourse. I love it though. Well thought piece of imagery.
Nick

thank you
i definitely see what you mean

PUNCH!!! ouch... right between the eyes!
What a fanbloomintastic creation... Love it!!!
Marvellous image!
OTT colour looking outstandingly good ![]()
Fantastic composition and use of the w/a lense
Lovely model and scene.
A purist might get picky at the blown out highlights in the sky, but I think they add impact meself.
Lovin' it!!
This would look great as a giant poster ![]()
Very strong image an a wonderful PF.
You're very talented in your chosen field Laura.

A striking image. Love the use of a wide angle lens.
Pavan.
That's kaBOOM alright! Excellent photo, congratulations on Photo Of The Week!
This image manages to be colourful, yet dark at the same time, I love it!
wow. very creative! and its not a typical boring model type either! nice work!
Well after all those positive comments what can I say. Superficially interesting, but really quite deadful. Over processed and hackneyed technique spoil what would have been a bog standard wide angle shot. I think members should put a few more years in on their own photography before applauding this offering. I might have liked it in high contrast B/W at least it would not have that peculiar colour in the sky, Unfortunately the vacant expression on the model may need to be changed.
Very interesting. I like the nearly "X" shape created by the subject and the foreground. This was not an easy composition, ISTM. You're dealing with very dissimilar color values and not much room to play with the center of interest. The manipulations remind me of work I've done in both PS and Painter.
Clearly, you've found a focus for your interests. I encourage you to keep working, and even occasionally re-visit older product to see what you've learned.
I would have appreciated this comment if the author was a good photographer, but after seeing the one piece in your gallery, I cannot take this seriously and can only assume you were talking about your own single picture that you have up. But thanks for passing through ![]()

Laura,
I too looked over BobEH's comment and checked his gallery. My experience is based on 40+ years as a working pro. One thing I've learned: you can't always please a client unless you know exactly what they want. Clearly, the image you posted wasn't want BobEH wanted.
I think it would have helpful to you if the positive responders had been more explicit as to why they enjoyed the image. As I said before, keep working and challenge yourself and your vision at every opportunity.
Thank you, I appreciate your comment. I just don't appreciate critiques with a snide attitude attached to them, and for that I got defensive . Any artist has to encounter someone who doesn't like their work, but there are more pleasant ways of getting a point across. Thanks again, and yes, everyone has different tastes - that's what's so beautiful about this and any art form ![]()
